Crop Night

We had an exciting day Friday, I went and picked up some more goodies for in store. You will see them on the website this week. We also had our first booked out Crop. We had lots of fun, there was lots of new scrappers there, and it was great to see them enjoying the craft. We all enjoyed lots of fun and laughter. We are in for a busy week this week, we have a kids class, whcih we are doing a beautiful Maya Rd Heart book, and on Saturday we are having a beginners class in the morning and a advanced class in the afternoon.

I am the owner of Let's Scrap. I started Let's Scrap in March 2007. I have been scrap booking for three years. My best friend and I had been chatting about scrapbooking and how we were both interested in doing it. I had another friend who was into creative Memories and asked if I would have a party so I did and then that was the end of me. I only had the one creative memories party and then found scrap booking shops and just loved all the bits and pieces. I was hooked.

The other thing more to me then scrap booking is my family. That is why I decided to open an online store because I can work it around my family. My two beautiful boys star on 98% of all my layouts. They are my inspiration. I have been trying really hard lately to journal more, I really like the artistic style scrap booking and I don't do alot of journalling, so that is my challenge for my next few layouts. I love how scrapbooking tells the story of your life and your family. I think those of us who are doing it are doing our future generations a service. My mum has alot of old photos that she knows maybe one person in them but she isn't sure of the others, whereas by scrap booking we can tell all of those little things so that our future generations will know. I also love the fact that I am leaving an imprint of my life on the future.
